Testing

Under the Home building act 1989 every electrical consumer is required to have their electrical installation regularly inspected for faults or defects that may lead to fire and/or property damage, or lead to the injury of persons or animals. This involves a visual inspection and test sequence confirming the installation is safe and meets the requirements of the Australian/New Zealand Standard Wiring Rules.

Upon completion of the inspection and tests, a detailed report is written noting what would be required for the installation to meet proper safety standards if need be and include recomendations conerning further work that may augment existing arrangements.
